Before
we get started we wanted to give a quick apology to Ome Calli for
mistakenly thinking it was Puerto Rican ice cream in our video. When
in fact it is Mexican. We are very sorry for that, and promise to do
better moving forward. Now having gotten that out of the way let us
tell you about how amazing this place is!
We
first found out about this place at the Beaverton
Night Market (there will be a video about this when it rolls around
again). Where for $2.00 I had the yummiest mango chili ice pop, So
good in fact that I ate three. Three! Anyway we knew then we had to cover
this little mom and pop shop. You walk in the doors, and you are
greeted by this wonderfulness.
All
the ice creams, ice pops, and custards are made in house. You can
get bold flavors like tamarind, corn, tequila, and Mexican chocolate.
On top of all that they have vegan, and gluten free options. My
favorite is the corn ice cream. While Jessica loves the tequila.
However even though there so many awesome flavors you can only try
one of them before you buy, so be selective, and bring a crowd of
friends you don't mind sharing spoons with.
There is no seating
which is bummer, but I don't know many ice cream shops that do have seating. So if you are in the area, and want to try something new you should check out Ome Calli! When you do, don't be afraid to let us know what you think!
This is Devin, and
Jessica signing off for now. We gotta hit the Dada lane. See you next
time!
